the divi agenda

how tiring can one's day get when you're doing wedding preparations? dead tiring! oh, i am not to get wed. but my cousin chay is. and even if i wasn't the one to get married, our friday activity totally exhausted me. we, almost the whole fam [laughs], went to divi/dive to find materials for chay's wedding gown. hers is gonna be made out of 3 off-white fabrics. it's gonna be an empire waist halter chapel train wedding dress where the silhouette empire shall be a pleated two-tone fabric and the waist to the train shall be a layer of star satin and chiffon.

i couldn't post a photo or even a sketch of the design for now, but i sure will when it's all done.

anyway... don't be surprised about the 'family effort'. 'tis going to be the first monumental wedding in the fam and everyone's kinda dazed, anxious, and thrilled all at the same time.

clueless of the where-to's for the best wedding materials, it took us hours before we found a store and another plus another. by the time we finished, which was kinda late already as we arrived there late lunch time, our aching feet and growling tummies needed rest and treat.

we dined at North Park around Blue Wave. and everyone seemed to be in a feast. :) did you notice the empty bowls and plates? he he...

i know i look basag. ha ha! sorry. i just woke up from our drive to macapagal. even took a little more shuteye in the car while they went in already to order food. that's how wasted i got after the nocturnal shift and straight shopping in divi. sigh. by the way, that's my ever dependable uncle, tatay teody, who drives for us anywhere we ask him to, and my cousin, ate bulleth.

tita helen (the bride's mom), chay (the bride), and justine (the bride's brother).

that was a great meal. left me bloated in my red tank top and glittery tutu skirt. :)

p.s.
imma go back to divi definitely...
didn't achieve my own shopping agenda eh!
he he... that made me quite frustrated. : |
